MILESTONE BIRTHDAY OPPORTUNITY

OUR WORK – OPPORTUNITY FOR BIRTHDAY DISADVANTAGE

People admit following their 31st birthday they only really celebrate the milestone birthdays of 40, 50 and 60. This can be seen as a disadvantage with Glendowen focusing on birthdays as their main priority. WHY? Only celebrating these three birthday‘s will mean they will only celebrate once every 10 years, compared to once a year.

However, even though this can be seen as a disadvantage for Glendowen, it can be turned into an opportunity because research suggests; “The average Briton spends about £500 on four milestone celebrations a year.” Therefore, the big spending on these milestones could replace the loss of not celebrating any other birthdays and potentially increase sales throughout the year (as people’s milestones birthday will fall differently each year) – which is Glendowen’s ultimate goal.
